Crate Digging: The Influence of De Underground Records is the result of a Newham Heritage Month research project about the influential studio and shop in Forest Gate in the 90s, one of the cornerstones in the development of jungle, and drum and bass.

The limited-edition booklet and poster includes quotes from the oral histories of Cool Hand Flex, Uncle 22, DJ Randall, MC Fats, Marly Marl, A-Sides, DJ Wax plus DJ Hype, MC Navigator, MC Rage, DJ Chef, DJ Skie, and DJ Warlock; archival material and links to an hour-length podcast plus mix of De Underground tracks by DJ Warlock.

20-pp booklet is designed by Sandra Zellmer. Printed by Aldgate Press in one colour on Coloraction Gold 120gsm paper, self-cover, saddle-stitched with a pull-out B2 poster of Eddie Otchere’s contact sheet of De Underground in 1995
